to fix bug #1031299 of package r-cran-ggalluvial a patch for the DESCRIPTION file[1] was used to fix the minimum version of dplyr. Despite this patch the resulting package ended up with the wrong versioned dependency as specified in the unpatched DESCRIPTION file. Thus a second fix[2] was needed to finally force the correct versioned dependency. It would be easier if dh-r would respect patches inside the DESCRIPTION file. Kind regards Andreas.
