The bug is indeed grave, but caused by another package, so I reassign. A fix has been made for that package and is about to be uploaded shortly. In the meanwhile, you can try the new package by adding the repository "deb http://debs.michaelbiebl.de/ unstable main", if you want.

In your case, you're not missing dbus, like the others. The problem might be that network-manager is not running. With the libnm-glib0 fix, you still won't have NetworkManager/Evolution integration, but your evo will be usable again. Keep up writing good bug reports!
