Hi, We are about to start the ruby3.1 transition in unstable. While trying to rebuild schleuder with ruby3.1 enabled, the build failed. Relevant part of the build log (hopefully): > Failure/Error: expect(error).to be_empty > expected > `"<internal:/usr/lib/ruby/vendor_ruby/rubygems/core_ext/kernel_require.rb>:85:in > `require': cannot loa...or_ruby/rubygems/core_ext/kernel_require.rb>:85:in > `require'\n\tfrom bin/schleuder:12:in `<main>'\n".empty?` to be truthy, got > false > # ./spec/schleuder/integration/filters_spec.rb:104:in `block (3 levels) > in <top (required)>' > # ./spec/spec_helper.rb:64:in `block (3 levels) in <top (required)>' > # ./spec/spec_helper.rb:63:in `block (2 levels) in <top (required)>' > > Finished in 3 minutes 8.5 seconds (files took 0.86967 seconds to load) > 543 examples, 21 failures > > Failed examples: > > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/receive_different_charsets_spec.rb[1:10]' > # user sends emails with different charsets works with simple_latin1 > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/receive_different_charsets_spec.rb[1:1]' > # user sends emails with different charsets works with japanese > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/receive_different_charsets_spec.rb[1:5]' > # user sends emails with different charsets works with japanese_shift_jis > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/receive_different_charsets_spec.rb[1:3]' > # user sends emails with different charsets works with > japanese_attachment_long_name > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/receive_different_charsets_spec.rb[1:11]' > # user sends emails with different charsets works with simple_utf8 > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/receive_different_charsets_spec.rb[1:6]' > # user sends emails with different charsets works with ks_c_5601-1987 > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/receive_different_charsets_spec.rb[1:12]' > # user sends emails with different charsets works with > thunderbird-multi-alt-html > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/receive_different_charsets_spec.rb[1:9]' > # user sends emails with different charsets works with simple_jpiso2022 > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/receive_different_charsets_spec.rb[1:2]' > # user sends emails with different charsets works with japanese_attachment > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/receive_different_charsets_spec.rb[1:4]' > # user sends emails with different charsets works with japanese_iso_2022 > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/receive_different_charsets_spec.rb[1:8]' > # user sends emails with different charsets works with simple_jis > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/receive_different_charsets_spec.rb[1:7]' > # user sends emails with different charsets works with signed_utf8 > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/send_encrypted_spec.rb[1:4]' # user sends > an encrypted message from thunderbird being encrypted+signed-mime > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/send_encrypted_spec.rb[1:2]' # user sends > an encrypted message from thunderbird being encrypted-mime > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/send_encrypted_spec.rb[1:1]' # user sends > an encrypted message from thunderbird being encrypted-inline > rspec './spec/schleuder/integration/send_encrypted_spec.rb[1:3]' # user sends > an encrypted message from thunderbird being encrypted+signed-inline > rspec ./spec/schleuder/integration/receive_bounce_spec.rb:4 # a bounce > message is received from bounce example > rspec ./spec/schleuder/integration/filters_spec.rb:55 # running filters > .fix_exchange_messages! accepts a valid plain-text message > rspec ./spec/schleuder/integration/filters_spec.rb:32 # running filters > .fix_exchange_messages! accepts an invalid pgp/mime Exchange message > rspec ./spec/schleuder/integration/filters_spec.rb:118 # running filters > .strip_html_from_alternative! does NOT strip HTML-part from > multipart/alternative-message that does NOT contain ascii-armored PGP-data > rspec ./spec/schleuder/integration/filters_spec.rb:81 # running filters > .strip_html_from_alternative! strips HTML-part from > multipart/alternative-message that contains ascii-armored PGP-data > > Randomized with seed 41721 > > /usr/bin/ruby3.1 > -I/usr/share/rubygems-integration/all/gems/rspec-support-3.10.3/lib:/usr/share/rubygems-integration/all/gems/rspec-core-3.10.1/lib > /usr/share/rubygems-integration/all/gems/rspec-core-3.10.1/exe/rspec > --format documentation failed > ERROR: Test "ruby3.1" failed: The full build log is available from: https://people.debian.org/~terceiro/ruby3.1/17/schleuder/schleuder_4.0.3-4+rebuild1663008348_amd64-2022-09-12T18:45:49Z.build To reproduce this, you need to install ruby-all-dev >= 1:3.0+2. Depending on when you try this, it might mean installing ruby-all-dev from experimental, or if the transition has already started, a normal build on unstable will be enough. If you fail to reproduce, please provide a build log and diff it with mine so that we can identify if something relevant changed in the meantime.
