the dkms autopkgtest generated by autodep8 misses the "superficial" restriction. Failing to build the kernel module is a good indicator for something being broken, but being able to build a kernel module does not say anything about its usability. Perhaps all (or at least most) autopkg tests generated by autodep8 should have the superficial restriction, and that should be the default when adding support for new package classes. Andreas
