Yes, a (soft) dependency should probably be added against
gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad, but as I said, the needed version (>=
1.19) is not yet in debian
There's gstreamer 1.20 in unstable and testing now, so there's a
chance it would finally do something useful if enabled. :-)
Yes it's planned, I've a build on my laptop and I did some testing with
my Sony (WF1000xm4, WH1000xm4,...) devices and when using LDAC, it's not
working (no sound or device crashing).
So I personally don't want to upload the change before this is fixed.
