Hi, is right opened here because is not enought patch memtest86+ (that I'm trying to improve recently https://salsa.debian.org/fantu-guest/memtest86plus/-/commits/debian/experimental) but is needed also a patch in grub2 in /etc/default/grub and grub-mkconfig, or at least grub-mkconfig to make it working.

This is something that would be very useful as I have seen on dozens of computers (or more) over the years, I had workaround for now with "chmod -x /etc/grub.d/20_memtest86+" when needed but is not optimal

can be considered adding option to at least disable memtest in grub2 please? if yes I'll prepare and test patches for both grub2 and memtest86+

thanks for any reply and sorry for my bad english
