Could you try gnumail and pantomime from debian experimental, to see if the bugs you have reported are fixed ?
I am so ashamed of myself that I didn't try the packages from experimental before flooding the Debian BTS; I'll think thrice before making a bug report next time. Here is what I found out:
- #293802: not fixed, but different behaviour. Now the application doesn't crash when switching to threaded view, but it doesn't show threads as well ;-) However this might be a feature, it was discussed on the mailing lists so I have to read all about it.
- #294921: fixed, I've made several tests and everything seems fine.
- #293840: fixed, you can close the bug as it is not applicable for the package in sid as well.
Thank you very much for the support, I'll wait for the upstream version to become stable so you can package it :-)
I'm afraid I'll have to report another minor bug which I found out 3 days ago and which is appearing both in the unstable and experimental versions of the package. I'll downgrade to the unstable packages in order reportbug to generate the message properly.
