If you want GPU hardware-acceleration (hw-accel) the above is *not* true, sorry.

When I use the so-libs shipped by libgles2 and libegl1 packages and
activate hw-accel in chromium I see in the URL: <chrome://gpu/> there
is hw-accel enabled but my CPU gets hot and its cooler gets loud.

The workaround is to not use GPU hw-accel in chromium for now.
