that's good to hear!

This bug was cloned to #975303 for ppc64 and ppc64el support, and
Ryutaroh has posted an exact solution for how to get a bootable system
there, too [1].

And he got autopkgtest to work with armel and armhf, with images he
built using his own tooling. So there's a path for those architectures, too.

With David now having added support for multiple architectures, I guess
step-by-step extension could be considered?

With all of the above, vmdb2 would be able to create images for all
official architectures except for mips* and s390x.
