Adrian, is "machine" the server you are connecting to or is it the router that does NAT? If it is the machine where ssh server runs, can someone knowledgeable explain if there is a way to achieve working config by tuning the NAT machine only? If it is the NAT machine (router, firewall), is eth0 the WAN interface or the local LAN? BTW I am able to ssh with linux port of putty (without X11, though) and scp with winscp over wine. How odd.
