That's exactly what I'm asking for.

Would "Recommends: systemd" work for php7.4-fpm?

After all it makes little sense to depend on the default init system and 
evidently it does not work well enough for corner cases.

FYI I'm not against systemd. It is obviously useful, solves many problems and 
I use on many systems. But systemd is not a solution to all the problems...

I'm not convinced that it would be the right thing to do.
