Package: libpango-1.0-0 Version: 1.44.7-3 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
it seems the package libpango1.0-0 has been renamed to libpango-1.0-0. This made apt removing some manually installed packages (with dpkg) like dropbox and Minecraft-launcher on upgrading the held back packages like libpango and nautilus. For example dropbox can not be configured any more, as libpango1.0-0 is now unavailable: # dpkg -i dropbox_xxx.deb [...] dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of dropbox: dropbox depends on libpango1.0-0 (>= 1.36.3); however: Package libpango1.0-0 is not installed. dpkg: error processing package dropbox (--install): dependency problems - leaving unconfigured [...] There are probably more dpkg packages provided by 3rd party that depend on libpango1.0-0 so i assume an transitional package would be a good idea. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.4.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages libpango-1.0-0 depends on: ii fontconfig 2.13.1-2+b1 ii libc6 2.30-4 ii libfribidi0 1.0.8-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.64.1-1 ii libharfbuzz0b 2.6.4-1 ii libthai0 0.1.28-3 libpango-1.0-0 recommends no packages. libpango-1.0-0 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
