Package: evolution Version: 2.4.2.1-2 Severity: normal I live in south-central Indiana; I have /etc/timezone set to US/East-Indiana, and my Evolution time zone set to America/Indiana/Indianapolis. As you've probably heard, this time zone just recently started observing daylight savings time for the first time in 70 years.
As a result of this change, the times for appointments in my Evolution calendar are being handled inconsistently. When I actually look at my calendar in Evolution itself, everything looks the way I expect it to, with appointments at the correct time, and so on. However, when I click on my GNOME clock applet to bring up a calendar, the times it shows for the day's appointments are an hour behind the times I expect. I'm also receiving alarms an hour later than I should. I tried changing the /usr/share/evolution-data-server-1.4/zoneinfo/America/Indiana/Indianapolis.ics file so that it resembled /usr/share/evolution-data-server-1.4/zoneinfo/America/New_York.ics. This made times for my appointments be reported consistently between different applications (Evolution and the clock applet), but they were all an hour behind. All these problems affect all appointments that occur while we're observing daylight savings time.
