That definitely looks much better and resolves the issue IMO. BTW, there is a related bug that has always been present in the listing of packages that have been kept back. It lists the suite for the newest version rather than the suite for the newest version acceptable to pinning. For example if libc6 is 2.29-9 locally (pin 100), 2.29-10 in testing (pin 900), 2.30-1 in unstable (pin 800) and 2.31-0experimental0 in experimental (pin 700) then the listing will look like this: Packages with upgradable origin but kept back: Debian experimental: libc6 instead of this: Packages with upgradable origin but kept back: Debian testing: libc6 -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
