Package: mediawiki Version: 1:1.31.5-3 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer,
mediawiki autopkgtests may fail with sudo 1.8.29. The new sudo version handles setting limits differently (actually honours pam_limits), and as such you'd get an Operation not supported error when it tries to set RLIMIT_CORE on some architectures, depending on the infrastructure being used. This is the only message showing in stderr, and thus fails the tests because of stderr. I suggest adding allow-stderr to all the tests in debian/tests/control except for lint to allow the presence of messages on stderr while running the tests. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers focal APT policy: (500, 'focal') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.3.0-23-generic (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=fr_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=fr_CA:fr (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages mediawiki depends on: pn apache2 | httpd <none> pn mediawiki-classes <none> ii mime-support 3.64ubuntu1 pn php <none> pn php-common <none> pn php-mbstring <none> pn php-mysql | php-pgsql | php-sqlite3 | php-mysqlnd <none> pn php-xml <none> Versions of packages mediawiki recommends: pn default-mysql-server | virtual-mysql-server | postgresql-co <none> pn php-apcu <none> pn php-cli <none> pn php-curl <none> pn php-intl <none> pn php-wikidiff2 <none> ii python3 3.7.5-1ubuntu1 Versions of packages mediawiki suggests: pn clamav <none> pn imagemagick | php-gd <none> pn memcached <none>
