I contribute to php&mysql project... and sometimes, It takes time to
answer questions or solve bugs.
There are only 24 hours per day... I spend some of them to sleep;)
As not being involved in packaging gimp I really just tried to get
some more information from the backtrace, which led to the
bug reports in gimp's own bug tracker.
I have just forwarded that this may be related to ClipIt in some way
from these these upstream reports.
If possible you could try to disable ClipIt temporarily and see if
the crashes continue to happen?
I understood you suggest me to try without ClipIt running.
I did a few drawings after shuting down clipit, and no crash happened.
The Conflict seems to be here.
