Version 3.6 of Linphone for Linux is quite old though, and lots of improvements have been made in the major new release 4.X. Linphone for desktop platforms is now Qt-based, supports audio conferences, includes a quick access to your recent events and an intelligent search bar etc. It would be very nice if you could consider packaging Linphone version 4.1.1, or even better, the new version 4.2 that will be released this autumn.
