Package: bittornado-gui Version: 0.3.13-1 Severity: important
Running the btdownloadgui.bittornado seems to consume too-much cpu time. This becomes a big problem when multiple instances are running. The cycle consumption is dramatically lower in both the btdownloadcurses.bittornado and btdownloadgui.bittorrent and was historically lower. The problem appeared after my upgrade of X to Xorg, and originally coincided with segmentation faults upon exiting the program. Recent upgrades have resolved the core dumps, but cpu usage remains high. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.25-custom Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages bittornado-gui depends on: ii bittornado 0.3.13-1 bittorrent client with enhanced cu ii python 2.3.5-5 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-wxgtk2.6 2.6.1.2.0.1 wxWidgets Cross-platform C++ GUI t Versions of packages bittornado-gui recommends: ii mime-support 3.36-1 MIME files 'mime.types' & 'mailcap -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
