Package: apt-cacher
Severity: important

Noticed a lack of cached packages, checked cache directory and found no debs
older than 7th March. Checked log and found this from the cleanup script:
Tue Mar 7 06:25:45
2006|CLEANUPREFRESH|EXPIRED|0|ftp.debian.org_debian_dists_unstable_contrib_binary-i386_Packages.bz2
Tue Mar 7 06:26:06
2006|CLEANUPREFRESH|EXPIRED|0|ftp.debian.org_debian_dists_unstable_main_binary-i386_Packages.bz2
Tue Mar 7 06:26:27
2006|CLEANUPREFRESH|EXPIRED|0|ftp.debian.org_debian_dists_unstable_non-free_binary-i386_Packages.bz2
Tue Mar 7 06:26:48
2006|CLEANUPREFRESH|EXPIRED|0|ftp.nerim.net_debian-marillat_dists_sid_main_binary-i386_Packages.bz2

Appears that it failed to download updated package lists and assumed there were
no packages available, and so emptied the cache.

Richard.
