We can't have the same pages for this, as the error is different.

With http, the block is URL based and you can block certain URLs on one server while others are non-blocked. So blocked http becomes a can't retrieve this URL error.

With https, the block is a IP based block. You can only block a complete IP address in a proxy with https, as that's the only information the proxy has (the host to connect to). So blocked https becomes a can't connect error.

Ok, but this one is indeed problematic. I guess, you found another solution so far.

However, I uploaded 1.10.0-1 of tinyproxy today and would be interested if you still have to wait for infinity with such a block in place.
