Package: libconfig-model-dpkg-perl Version: 2.109 Severity: important Hi,
this is what you can do to reproduce the issue: dget http://http.debian.net/debian/pool/main/b/bcftools/bcftools_1.7-2.dsc cd bcftools-1.7 cme fix dpkg-control grep ^Suggests debian/control The comment is moved to a place where it results in an invalid control file. In general one criticism of the Uploader of this package was, that cme has the habit to move around comments. I think this became better - but this case is not just moving around but making the control file technically invalid. Thus severity important. Thanks for working on cme Andreas. PS: I'm refering to bcftools_1.7-2 since I'll upload a new version of the package soon with updated Standards-Version and Vcs-fields so cme has nothing to do and also does not reformat the file. To verify the issue you can also take latest bcftools and decrease Standards-Version. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
