After updating syncmaildir to 1.3.0-1, one cannot sync anymore mails from a server running stable and having stable packages installed. smd-server: ERROR: Wrong protocol version. smd-server: ERROR: The same version of syncmaildir must be used on both endpoints smd-server: ERROR: Protocol version mismatch smd-client: ERROR: Wrong protocol version. smd-client: ERROR: The same version of syncmaildir must be used on both endpoints smd-client: ERROR: Protocol version mismatch This is usual situation IMHO, that one keeps servers running stable while possibly (in my case laptop) deeping updated for Debian development to unstable. Can you please make the version in unstable compatible protocolwise to the stable version again. Regards, Salvatore
