I can't reproduce this either. I did this: rm .git/refs/dgit-intern/quilt-cache rm .git/logs/refs/dgit-intern/quilt-cache dgit --quilt=gbp --overwrite --damp-run push # ^ fails with the "no cached dgit view" message, as expected # therefore my rm's above were effective dgit --rm-old-changes -wdd --quilt=gbp sbuild -c build # my relevant sid chroot is called "build" dgit --quilt=gbp --overwrite --damp-run push The latter command printed messages including: dgit view: found cached (commit id 4dcfadb60855855fa909fb1544c22af63084b4c0) and then the expected message: dgit: HEAD specifies a different tree to rssh_2.3.4-6.dsc: Are you sure that dgit's suggestion: > dgit: perhaps tree changed since dgit build[-source] ? was false ?
