Package: fluxbox Version: 1.3.5-2+b2 Followup-For: Bug #882354 It seems to be due to my startup script being executable but not having a shebang. When bash is run in sh mode, and a script is "exec"uted which doesn't have a shebang, it might be interpreted as executing code from a pipe or something. So it keeps the file descriptor open.
I guess this bug report can be closed since the default content for the startup script has a shebang now.
