I just executed the generate-systemd-service-files that you wrote on my local machine, and there is no notable differences between my local redis-server@.service and the generated one. Only the comments I wrote were stripped. The original redis-server.service are (obviously) identical to the generated one.
I cannot test sentinel, but since it is generated from the same template, it should work. Many thanks for integrating that changes into the redis package! Adrien
