Package: ifplugd Version: 0.26-2.1 Followup-For: Bug #348698 I have the same configuration as Daniel R. and the same problems. I can start ifplugd #/usr/sbin/ifplugd -n -i eth0 -s -r /tmp/change (testing own script /tmp/change) and I get:
ifplugd 0.26 initializing. Using interface eth0/00:0A:E4:34:51:8E with driver <e100> (version: 3.4.8-k2-NAPI) Using detection mode: SIOCETHTOOL Initialization complete, link beat detected. Executing '/tmp/change eth0 up'. Program executed successfully. Link beat lost. Link beat detected. Link beat lost. Link beat detected. Link beat lost. Link beat detected. .... As you can see.. ifplugd detects link correctly, but it is executing script only at startup (with this command line configuration). Why not at link beat change? Can anybody do sth. with that?
