That is, in fact, probably exactly what it is. Pardon me while I go find someone and beat them about the ears for ever allowing mixed virtual packages to get into a situation this broken. *sigh* > Example install attempt: > > candle:~# dpkg -l zope2.7 > Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold > | Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed > |/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: > uppercase=bad) > ||/ Name Version Description > +++-==============-==============-============================================ > ii zope2.7 2.7.4-0-0 Open Source Web Application Server > candle:~# apt-get install zope-zwiki > Reading Package Lists... It looks ugly, but there's no other answer; the "Provides: zope" of zope2.7 is more or less useless, so I'll simply add it as a forcible alternative and hope that the Zope maintainer actually rolls it back into the Zope package someday. More and more packages going to package<version> packages. This is a bad thing. Bah. -- Joel Aelwyn <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ,''`. : :' : `. `' `-
