Now we have switched to 'ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de', which I have found the

seen on the trace below.
Sounds good, thanks!
Please suggest if it is worth to set up an ssh triggers and
if the 'ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de' variant is good choice for us at your
point of view?
Maybe you can suggest better variants?
The rwth-aachen mirror is a good choice.
I liked it too.
While you can set up ssh triggers, it is quite an overhead. Probably
not worth it.
So we will keep this variant for now.
If you want to experiment, you could try the ftpsync-cron wrapper from
the ftpsync version released this week or in git. The idea is that
you'd run the script in cron every few minutes, maybe every 10 or 15 or
so. It checks the upstream trace file and starts a mirror if that trace
file changed, i.e. if the upstream updated.
Note that it is new and not yet well tested, so it might not work. (Let
us know if you try it and if it works for you or not.)
Very interesting idea!
Will think about it and let you know if we try it.
Cheers,
Seems our mirror is going on stable. I see normal updates each four hour
for both Debian Archive & CD mirrors for about 10 days.
If you need more time to wait to consider, adding us as Primary Country
Mirror for Armenia I can contact you again later.
