Package: pcre2 Version: 10.22-3 I'm interesting in updating Ubuntu's packages to fix some security issues in pcre2 affecting stable Ubuntu releases.
I know 3.0 (quilt) is not mandatory in Debian, but I think it is considered best practice for most packages where Debian is not also the upstream. It makes it quite a bit cleaner for another packager like me to easily see what changes Debian is making to the upstream source. So please consider switching. Thanks, Jeremy Bicha
