Package: kwave Version: 0.7.5-1 Severity: normal
It seems kwave 0.7.5 for debian isn't properly built against the libraries - I am unable to create any samples because it won't let me set any file formats. Try this: file -> new then try recording - for me, it first reports "out of memory" and right after it says "invalid file format" but when I try to change the file format, the choice box is all greyed out. Also, for the "about kwave" it reports "using kde 3.4.3". "about kde" reports 3.5.1. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (200, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14-kanotix-9 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_CA) Versions of packages kwave depends on: ii kcontrol 4:3.5.1-1 control center for KDE ii kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.1-1 core libraries for all KDE applica ii libarts1c2a 1.5.1-1 aRts sound system core components ii libartsc0 1.5.1-1 aRts sound system C support librar ii libasound2 1.0.10-2 ALSA library ii libaudiofile0 0.2.6-6 Open-source version of SGI's audio ii libc6 2.3.5-12 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libflac++5 1.1.2-3+b1 Free Lossless Audio Codec - C++ ru ii libflac7 1.1.2-3+b1 Free Lossless Audio Codec - runtim ii libgcc1 1:4.0.2-8 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.8.6-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgsl0 1.7-4 GNU Scientific Library (GSL) -- li ii libid3-3.8.3c2a 3.8.3-5 Library for manipulating ID3v1 and ii libmad0 0.15.1b-2.1 MPEG audio decoder library ii libogg0 1.1.3-2 Ogg Bitstream Library ii libqt3-mt 3:3.3.5-3 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libstdc++6 4.0.2-8 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libvorbis0a 1.1.2-1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi ii libvorbisenc2 1.1.2-1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi ii libx11-6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System miscellaneous exte kwave recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
