Can you check whether the phone really supports SyncML? See how to do that with hcitool and sdptool under the "Troubleshooting" section from https://syncevolution.org/wiki/sync-your-phone-bluetooth A search shows that Samsung claims SyncML support for the phone, but it remains open whether that is SyncML over Bluetooth (a rare feature these days) or a SyncML client for a SyncML server (also a dying feature, but a bit more likely). > Installed the best tool for that I could find in apt-cache search... > Before, paired the device with blueman and it seems to be registered > normally. > > * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or > ineffective)? > > Started sync-ui. I can't install the Debian testing package that you are using, at least not easily (not using Debian testing quite yet). Timo, can you test this? It sounds like a total failure to communicate with the syncevo-dbus-server via D-Bus. > * What outcome did you expect instead? > > Any useful information on how to continue from here. No need to shout. Instead have a look at "Command-line synchronization" at https://syncevolution.org/wiki/sync-your-phone-bluetooth -- Best Regards, Patrick Ohly The content of this message is my personal opinion only and although I am an employee of Intel, the statements I make here in no way represent Intel's position on the issue, nor am I authorized to speak on behalf of Intel on this matter.
