So, it seems I was confused as you actually have a real icedove transitional package but also a Provides: icedove in thunderbird
Personally, I would drop that Provides, it's just confusing imho. The point of moving /usr/share/applications/icedove.desktop into the transitional icedove package is still valid though. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
