Hi,
piexif was uploaded to NEW several months ago and rejected just recently
due to some copyright issues. Unfortunately the fixes were
uploaded/reviewed not fast enough for the soft-freeze to take place.

Wrapping out piextif form nikola seems to be in order.

Working on that ATM.
