Sorry yes, that's not quite what I meant. hopefully the latest pushes to the proposed-consolidate branch clear that up. I've ran out of time to work on this anymore before Xmas and possibly until the new year -- I've pushed my latest and put builds of those packages at the temporary location on phobos mentioned in an earlier bug.
