I like it, especially when a package doesn't have a lot of bugs
:-).  Well, I guess if I send you code that implements this, and switches
it off by default, you would probably incorporate it.  But I won't, both
because I don't know Emacs Lisp well, and because I don't think it's
sooo important.

I think so, too. You could add an option "Send CarbonCopy to original
submitter?".  I wouldn't make it mandatory: If I follow up on an old bug
that apparently has been submitted by a hit-and-run user of the package,
or otherwise clueless person, I usually save me the "Mail deliver
failed: No such user" mails...
