I do not know how udev could cause the kernel to rescan the device... Can you check with udevmonitor and/or by uncommenting the logger at the end of /etc/udev/hotplug.rules what's happening? Is this related to the new udev or to the pcmcia-related package upgrade? Anyway, in a few minutes I will upload 083 to http://www.bofh.it/~md/debian/, please test it just to be sure. -- ciao, Marco
