Hello Jerome,
What version of GAP are you using ? I assume it is not 4r8p3-2.

Removing debian/patches/fix-compressed-six-files will cause the GAP
packages to FTBFS, so this is not possible.

Please explain how I can reproduce the problem, so I can fix the patch.
