It appears that atomic_write is not involved: I was confused by the fact the test-command runs several gap sessions that log to the same file, hence the confusion. If to each processed gap session is associated a specific log file, the issue remain but atomic_write appears not involved. Let open an other front: my understanding is that six files are generated, why obsolete six files are still around ? > >>> >>> SaveWorkspace is implemented in C in the source file <GAP>/src/saveload.c >>> [1] >>> atomic_write is part of sagemath [2] > >> Why not simply remove atomic_write ? atomic_write seems to make >> assumption on GAP I/O that are unwarranted. > > Which assumption ? > > Jerome Thanks, Jerome > > >> Cheers, > > > > _______________________________________________ > Debian-science-sagemath mailing list > debian-science-sagem...@lists.alioth.debian.org > https://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/debian-science-sagemath > - -- Jerome BENOIT, Ph.D. | jgmbenoit-at+rezozer*dot_net http://www.rezozer.net/ - -- Jerome BENOIT | calculus+at-rezozer^dot*net https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=calcu...@rezozer.net AE28 AE15 710D FF1D 87E5 A762 3F92 19A6 7F36 C68B -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQQcBAEBCgAGBQJYNSHIAAoJED+SGaZ/NsaLCAkgAK/s5QFl8YmxD4AKJR4Z5SRj I41GVThF+LZsdHu3DGleFkEhUbEL0hBVLfb0LC8OSXYfrzFIei2zV9nm8neGBgpC gYRZE6KKhiUmasNSVLOaEj8jNV0CFH7iCXzZ30HCW49DTH1zLgamb4SF4fZwtutl tQyv5hi0h4kQ8IT4BcWncbchZcj80OrOwDzKQmaVSbH+Fns50Epw5QMCid/QUpLu cjp1CDUc/PvOtJaZ87F7FDWyGr6F0F3qHXEYcfoGOPuWg5ioU1lQYhmh69h45Qn1 bMBEY44m0qFmVU5qJ6cCICrJbHUQH9ijbAQudvi5okDAvofZAnNNSZb8LVjv1o+f ywrq/zOK4eX4/ts3gWmpoaqk6xBK5wYHwdW8sk9Qdtnxp8hydBn39pFZMBHEWViw jOwazJZRptkDKtymSsYaOC2Do8mYEAU4rvoF2wfvz8PAfdUuhXhfpCRNk1bs3UT4 lEFMPsTHynb0XiRBjPm+EoFfkGAma6Ufm2J5v1LVqGy0+tT0zhURXCYVozq22wfB el+e5fBN+DBqWX4ZI7YsF3HZSVBHQOpZmRiZK5VoDGljq3ibwYIExIcs3b0H9o/4 kf74k+1NpyX42h3DJMxL+s9Opjg54voiwLZvJ2aoX8XOzDckMfwpIlGulNbcr0Hl ySFn7nV+yW/PArQIXEkLqomlBxaQ1cgI+evfVdoEuS1BOTFEWAm34P1NJcY4HOUc TmnNR9zBXFM948gUFlZAk4vDtVyGUdsjNi7NN+i4kCl5yHX25noHN17RrPz96K+O 6weeSr/h4y0I0QoD+F9hum5azlYfybNWW1i3LFdRcUHvFyCOFZifDxbiIgEfAqPR vJCyscgEG3fAMvzWQzZ3NKXgmcqjMUrUXXgD6/NQ9UyhTKRSE2wUA9wqtyQqp5h+ LZO3cteTOxmnkNQI8JbNNhdrRXZnKz0lwfT8uZc+GZ32qm7hac4MBXiV9o6M1sFP cGxnUCJpg/UrPj4ik9OVu8oE6qp8LQ1Toh2eF3V3fW78Pmia9FbL06YR6rpE7NjS Xr3BrgiexyVWKlPi76M4NAsfGjYNgW6z0OYgcqkkWhikJdQhWUbhc42Pxj+mlsHA MK/wPXvrvhpBzifptJAuHGOdBAm0i9EvQxK2xReNHNo4nqRM248R/J08lu1gWeaw dGcSHBQWYhH47xKJPIQBTeY9z9n0Pi+QqAqXmOIfimWMxFcqS/2+pf+Gj/PZ1XhR aR+FacNCzMcZ2RmMAwMSmepwnDQDG4s+Twh/iJxSuu2t7brlddR6ypZ5u/bJcfjy uG5dwlPBssUC9lSV7iGgJfjtEBYNBKTKeYBL1KkLEIE+hltxnG6lsM9Ol6NJL+8= =SlNE -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
