Apologies, thought this was clear from the context on the OpenSSL transition. The reason why I did reopen the bug is, that bip FTBFS when building with libssl-dev (OpenSSL 1.1). The issue was mitigated by switching to building with libssl1.0-dev. Thus the reopening, *and* in particular the severity downgrade (since not anymore RC) and the unblock on the transition bug. The issue can be seen as follows, switch the Build-Depends from libssl1.0-dev back to libssl-dev. Hope this clarify, and apolgoies again the intention was not clear. Regards, Salvatore
