A lot has changed since 0.4.8; I've created a package "gxineplugin" to avoid

Hmmm, is this really necessary?
Normally, there are less invasive ways of dealing with conflicts, like
using the /etc/alternatives mechanism or other kinds of configuration.
For those who use the gxine browser plugin, it would disappear from their
systems, probably without warning, when upgrading from 0.4.8.
While I'd rather not like to see gxine split up into two packages, I
haven't investigated the situation further. So I'd just ask you to think
very carefully about this change before you do an upload.
Also dote that changing the package structure will also delay your upload,
as it requires ftpmaster approval.
