[Thomas, when you reply to -submitter it doesn't get copied to the
maintainer; I didn't see your earlier replies until I checked the web
archive...]

Could you at least add a bit to the man page explaining _why_ it is
cross referencing to ded?  I don't see the reference as adding any
value to the man page, but I'm not going to argue with you about it.
