Got it fixed by copying the full original desktop file and add the Hidden key. Otherwise the desktop file cannot be parsed. Now I have finally gpg-agent running with the correct SSH_AUTH_SOCKET set up. Thanks! BUT: communication does not work on first run: I need to $ killall gpg-agent $ gpg-agent --daemon to get it actually working. If I don't do this there is a warning no connection to ssh-agent Not that I ask you to debug that, but if you have an idea I would be happy.
