Please have a look at http://moc.daper.net. Damian has introduced
UTF-8 support in version 2.4.0-alpha2-1. 2.4.0-alpha2-2 can be
tested from

deb http://www.lxtec.de/debarchiv binary-powerpc/
deb http://www.lxtec.de/debarchiv binary-i386/
deb-src http://www.lxtec.de/debarchiv sources/

Updating sid to 2.4.0 will solve your bug in the near future, but
anyway I am sure Damian will check your patch ;) Please test
2.4.0-alpha2-2 and let me know whether you or me can close that bug.

Thanks for reporting and have a nice mocing ;)

Elimar
