Ah I configured kadmin through freeipa and I found the krb5.conf template file where they defined file logging. http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-freeipa/freeipa.git/tree/install/sha re/krb5.conf.template I'm going reassign this bug to freeipa. Diane
