Package: mate-desktop Version: 1.12.1-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade sudo apt-get dist-upgrade * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? rebooting also, trying to re-add the clock is not working either. * What was the outcome of this action? no clock or (included) weather applet shown. P.S.: Madison suggests there's a newer version of mate-desktop available... but in unstable. I'm using testing (stretch/sid). -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.5.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages mate-desktop depends on: ii hicolor-icon-theme 0.15-1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.20.0-1 ii libc6 2.22-9 ii libcairo2 1.14.6-1+b1 ii libfontconfig1 2.11.0-6.4 ii libfreetype6 2.6.3-3+b1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.34.0-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.48.1-1 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.30-2 ii libmate-desktop-2-17 1.12.1-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.40.1-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.40.1-1 ii libpangoft2-1.0-0 1.40.1-1 ii libstartup-notification0 0.12-4 ii libxrandr2 2:1.5.0-1 ii mate-desktop-common 1.12.1-1 ii mate-user-guide 1.14.0-1 ii python 2.7.11-1 mate-desktop recommends no packages. mate-desktop suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
