Package: gdm Version: 2.8.0.6-2 gdm is built with the -O2 flag even if the environment variable DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS contains the string "noopt". Policy section 10.1 recommends (but does not require) building with minimum optimizations. I think this should be achieved in this case by adding -O0 to the gcc command line.
