It should be mentioned. 1) why? do you have any policy requirement where a manpage written should mention who and where wrote it? 2) where? where did Thomas say so? 3) is an autogenerated with help2man manpage even copyrightable? anyway, starting with borgbackup 0.28.2 the manpage is *not* written by Debian, nor with the autogenerated help2man stuff. Now (as suggested by me), the manpage is created starting from their rst files, that were on the git repository so long before Debian introduced the package. So this bug seems to be invalid to me. (of course feel free to reopen if you don't agree with me, and in that case patches would be so appreciated!) cheers! Gianfranco
