Package: reiserfsprogs
Version: 3.6.19-1

The problem is simple. For ext2 and ext3 partition, the fsck program
displays a volume label, if one exists - example:

BOOT: clean, 62/297256 files, 60311/594405 blocks

All my partitions have labels (hint: "mke2fs -L") so at boot I can
easily see which partitions are fsck-ed. But for reiserfs v.3.6
partitions, the fsck program never displays labels.

I have already found a solution - it has been discussed in the
Gentoo Bugzilla, and I have sucessfully contacted upstream developers.

Please see:

"Could reiserfsprogs display volume labels when doing fsck upon boot?"

The change is cosmetic, and the Vitaly Fertman (the developer) already
agreed to apply this patch in the upcoming reiserfsprogs-3.6.20.

Please consider if it may be valuable to apply the patch even for
reiserfsprogs-3.6.19.

Best regards,
Wiktor Wandachowicz
