There are two bugs here, one regarding jessie where there is a broken dvipdfmx, and one regarding the font selection, due to (again) same naming of the Palatino fonts with Cyrillic glyphs. I hope we can sort out all the mess at some point. Tomorrow I wil investigate more this problem here.
