I suspect this assumtion is wrong, and the script other motivations too. I've tried to track down the discussion we had a long time ago about providing the source on the images, without any luck, but believe those were included to make life for redistributors easier, where they could provide a preconfigured hardware unit with the freedombox software and not have to care about handling requests for source after the unit was shipped. Also, it make the freedombox images more useful on isolated islands or other offline computers, where it is possible to modify the included programs without fix getting an Internet connection. > pere, would you please comment on whether this is okay?
